Couldn't be happier with this one. It's wide enough to easily slice onions, but my previous food slicer didn't have it. It works very well because the blade is very sharp! Be sure to wear gloves, especially when cutting carrots and other tough objects. When using the grind setting, you may need a little more force if your hand slips. If you don't wear gloves, you could be in big trouble. Easy to clean, don't miss out, just buy!
