Be sure to wear gloves, especially when cutting carrots and other tough objects. When using the grind setting, you may need a little more force if your hand slips. If you don't wear gloves, you could be in big trouble. Easy to clean, don't miss out, just buy!

Bought for slicing cucumbers for cucumber salads. Cut potatoes for baking potato chips. Carrots for frying in Chinese. The blade is not adjustable and should be for me to do these things and more. It has 4 clips on the attachment and 2 of 4, I have no idea what they are for. I came with no instructions that could identify these 2 additional applications. I returned it for a refund. I'm still waiting for my loan
