Installed on my '69 Triumph Spitfire to replace the stock header, the old header flange was bent, always leaking. *Very* tight fit. I had to loosen the front engine mounts and use a hoist to raise the engine high enough to make room. After installation the tube still hits the frame, quite a bit of effort to bend it enough that it doesn't hit the frame, still takes a bit more as sometimes it hits. It took two gears to fit in my stock exhaust pipe. I haven't noticed any change in performance, it does get warm after installation but I can't say for sure it's just the manifold.
