Review on 🍯 Honeywell V8043E1012 Sweat Valve with Enhanced Connection by Charles Butler

I have purchased this valve to replace an identical valve which has been in use for over 20 years years in use. The valve was installed in a hard-to-reach location, which would have required extensive disassembly to replace the entire valve. However, I had easy access to the top of the valve. I was able to remove the power head and found that the rod holding the ball to the motorized arm had rusted through and was no longer pressing the ball against the seat. I replaced the parts removed from the original valve with new parts. I ended up using the new valve as a repair kit for the old one. Had I known the problem beforehand, I could have just bought the "Honeywell Zone Valve Head Conversion Kit 40003918-006". But this part is installed on commercial equipment and downtime is costly.
