I put science/technology above self/mass delusion, that's why I've been using normal cable/lightning for speaker cables for years. Acoustically/electrically a wire is a wire, but the mechanical properties of insulation count too, so when I needed a cable for a new installation I decided to broaden my horizons. I chose this cord because I wanted something more flexible than a typical lamp cord. The blue sheath was also a good alternative to the usual clear, brown, beige or black lamp cord. The price made the deal. I am happy to report that the cable is as expected. It is malleable and seems durable. The only small downside is that it's very hard for me to see the black polarity mark. The printed markings are much easier to see so I used them as a guide.
