This is indeed 16 AWG copper speaker wire.

Very good wire. It's really very flexible and I measured the resistance and it really is 16 AWG. Many speaker wire manufacturers list a gauge, but their gauge is smaller than the standard AWG (American Wire Gauge). The insulation has a nice texture and appears to be more durable than a lot of wire insulation. Although there is a black stripe on one of the wires to help with polarity, it's very difficult to see. Luckily you can use the white print as a guide which is more visible.

Excellent wire the best audio and video accessories

Excellent wire. High quality copper and thick insulation. Easily stripped ends without damaging the wire. Very flexible and easy to use. Has greatly improved the sound of my system. Unfortunately, this article does not appear when I search for a cable on Revain. Found this out from another review. I also used 14 gauge on one of my systems. I'm a music lover and I'm good at good sound. Here's a hint. When you peel the insulation, twist it instead of straightening it and you'll end up with…

100% HIGH QUALITY COPPER WIRES, very soft and flexible. GOOD PRODUCT!

HIGH QUALITY 100% COPPER WIRES, very soft and flexible. GOOD PRODUCT! I bought this for use in a car audio system I'm about to install and compared it to 3 other 16 gauge cables from several other companies and it's by far the best. The insulation is very pliable, will bend and stick to your car without kinks or problems. Here's my take on the wire: PROS: - very flexible - great looking blue insulated wire - 16 gauge or larger - 100% copper - cheap price compared to Best Buy wire CONS: - black…

This is a really good wire, very flexible and easy to work with. I used it along with their 10 gauge cable to wire my Vincent SV-237MK integrated amplifier to my Klipsch Cornwall III speakers. After listening to Paul McGowan talk about how different gauge wire affects speaker sound, I used 16-gauge tweeter connectors and 10-gauge woofer connectors, all terminating in Mediabridge Ultra banana plugs on the amplifier and spade lugs on the computer columns . So far I've noticed slightly raised…

Great speaker cable at a good price!

I put science/technology above self/mass delusion, that's why I've been using normal cable/lightning for speaker cables for years. Acoustically/electrically a wire is a wire, but the mechanical properties of insulation count too, so when I needed a cable for a new installation I decided to broaden my horizons. I chose this cord because I wanted something more flexible than a typical lamp cord. The blue sheath was also a good alternative to the usual clear, brown, beige or black lamp cord. The…

Outstanding speaker cable at a low price.

Over the past 25 years I have connected many high quality car radios. When it comes to powering your amplifiers I have always used quality name brand amplifiers and speaker cables. A few years ago I had the opportunity to hook up some home surround speakers in a material I hadn't used before as I ran out of wires for my old Stinger 16ga speaker. I tried this stuff and was really impressed - at first the KnuKonceptz speaker cable seemed to fit the high-end cable gauge. Anyone who has worked…

Choosing a speaker cable is a difficult task, I spend 5 days deciding which one to buy I bought 14 gauge wire for my Sony Pascal speakers, these from 2003 cost me $580 at the time. These speakers have amazing performance from 120Hz to 70kHz (2003. It was a time when Sony really wanted to produce something unique, something that would impress people and promote SACD (Super Audio CD format that was just coming out back then). Love the purity of the low end The dynamics of the tweeters on these…
