The main reason I bought this table is because it's 25 inches high which is about the height of the armrests on most sofas. This means someone sitting on the couch can see the surface, making it less likely to spill drinks or tip things over. Lamps on this surface illuminate a wider area of light than on a lower surface. I was able to assemble this table in about 10 minutes by screwing the legs together and then attaching them to the table top. The best are the 4 leg tips. They are attractive, make the table more complete than just 4 bare pipes, and protect the surface this table is standing on. The "marble" top looks nice, could have used a more attractive pattern, but I knew what it looked like before I received it, so the seller is innocent. The finish is "waterproof", not "waterproof". I would insist on coasters or tablecloths or wipe up liquids as soon as possible.
