Review on HEAD Tacki Mac Serrated Racquetball Black by Matt Simpsons

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Extremely difficult setup

I usually use handles with a handle. This is the first one piece pen I have installed and I cannot recommend it. First, it is not possible to install the strap and connector in place. The end cap is too wide to snag on. I thought the glue would act as a lubricant but it doesn't. All it did was cover all of my fingers as I tried to grab them. In addition, the glue dried in a few minutes and only increased the width of the handle, which made tightening even more difficult. After removing the dried glue I was able to pull the handle back about 3 inches. Then the combination of the friction of the rubber and the narrowing of the grip (due to the grip pulling) made further tightening impossible. I used a screwdriver between the grip and the grip to stretch the rubber a bit and allow the grip to return to its normal shape. This allowed me to tighten my grip a little more. This process was repeated several times and I was able to grab another inch. The last few inches or so I rolled up the open end of the handle until it was flush with the handle. Then use a screwdriver to stretch the handle. A combination of simultaneously pushing and pulling on the curved handle, with the occasional use of a screwdriver, allowed me to install the handle. I was then able to put the strap cap back on (because the rubber grip no longer covers the end of the grip. I then applied some glue to the open end of the grip and folded the grip back up. After installation, the end of the grip was near the club head There was a gap at that end due to the narrower handle so it looked unfinished. It took about an hour to install.Only reason I didn't give it a star is because the crank seems to work really well but the effort has paid off not worth it.

Pros
  • IMPROVED GRIP: HEAD racquetball grips are made of Kraton's specially developed sticky rubber and offer additional grip for more control with every shot.
Cons
  • Can't remember
