These visors are well made and comfortable to wear. As for the fixation of the wrists - this most sensitive area - they offer comfort, not total immobilization. So choose your poison! I really had a blob on my inline skates when I landed back on my wrists with full force. Without those guards I would definitely have busted both of them even though they were sick for over two months. This scared me so much that I bought a stiffer pair to gain immobilization at the expense of comfort. In summary, these are good, comfortable shin guards and the price is right. There are stiffer, less comfortable ones depending on your needs, so the choice is yours.
