Review on ๐Ÿš— Enhance Your Vehicle's Performance with Monroe 90007 Air Shock Conversion Kit: Load Assist Shock Upgrade by Daniel Evans

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The original GM Air Ride design is not as good - the original Monroe conversion kit is not as good - the updated Monroe design works GOOD!

Bought this kit for my aunt in 2013. A few months later, she said she heard rattling noises from time to time. Time flies and I'm driving with her in her car and the squeaking gets insanely loud. I went back and forth a bit between Revain and Monroe to get a guarantee on them. SO HAPPY I MADE IT! The replacement kit looks like a new design. The original struts I received had more spring coils and plastic bushings. The springs were very close to the strut body (so I got the advice from another person to put silicone on the strut at the contact point). If I did it right, I've attached the photos. The ones on the bench are the old/original sets and didn't fit me. The photo shows a stand in a new design car. Note that the coils of the strut spring are further apart and far from the strut body. Day and night difference in posture and driving results. My advice: if you get the ones that look like the main picture or the ones on my bench, return them if possible. The less fancy racks seem like a great replacement. My belief in Revane and Monroe remained. Would give 5 stars if I received a second design in my original order.
