Controller works great with 12v bulbs. I connected it to a WS2811 RGB LED string. It reacts to music and has several different animations for music and non-music and you can scroll through the colors (about 30 in total). However, there is no way to set the LEDs to white. One of the animations is green and white, and that's the only way to get some white. You can't just make them white. I know what you're thinking. Why do you need RGB lighting when all you want is white? Because 12V addressable LED strings (strings, not strips) don't come in white, that's why. Also, sometimes you just need white light. I wanted a music controller that didn't require an application to be launched to play music. The controller does an excellent job here. It just can't make the light white (and yes, there is a music program that just uses whatever RGB color you set). let me be clear I'm not talking about white channel control on RGBW lights, which it DEFINITELY can't do. I mean it can't get every RGB channel to 100% produce white like my Dream Color LED strip does. So this is great for rainbow Christmas lights, or even a static colored music light, or you want a green and white pattern, but not if you ever want them to be all white. Maybe, I don't know, the party is over and you want everyone to go home, but you want the lights to be on and not off because that could give the wrong signal. Buy another controller as this one is only good for amazing colors moving to the music. No, really, he's great. Just no. awesome
