Review on πŸš— Wireless Car Audio Receiver with Bluetooth 4.1, AUX Port, and Compatibility with Mercedes Benz W Glk E C S ML CLA SLK GL - AMI MDI MMI Bluetooth Kit by Bob Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Powered by NTG4 Audio 20 / Nav 20 (2012 GLK350)

so I'll try to be as specific as possible on which car this worked on as I hope it helps people make the right choice. The entertainment system is an NTG4/Audio 20 updated to Navigation 20. The Nav20 is said to offer a Bluetooth option (shown on my phone as device name UMI) but does not support the connection. The Nav20 also adds a 30 pin iPod connector which I used to connect this adapter. I didn't need to use the cable that came with the adapter as my car doesn't have a UMI port. My guess is that the UMI slot is occupied by a Nav20 box mounted in the glove box. Functionality is now limited as you can't steer the track or use any of the steering wheel controls, but I suspect this could be because I'm connecting to an Android and not an iPhone. The screen also says "Error" but the sound works so I just switch to the "Trip" screen or whatever. Overall it worked as expected, it automatically connects to my phone for audio when I'm in the car. No issues and I have not had to open the glove box since installation and have rated it as such. My device reads like i-link on my phone and the instructions worked great.
