Review on RV220-50-SP 50 Amp Voltage πŸ”Œ Booster with Surge Protection by Hughes Autoformers by James Julien

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Essential for 100 degree weather

Well, it's hot here in Houston and our RV fleet suffers from the heat of the day due to relatively low voltage. So I decided to try the Hughes Autoformer, it's expensive but a good investment compared to an AC replacement. My voltage was 111 when I unplugged the RV. I connected the camper to the autoformer and the autoformer to the base. The voltage immediately rose to 116, and after the air conditioning compressor started, the unit began to climb to 122. After walking a little, the device rose quite sharply, and the voltage was constant at 116. I believe that after the windings in the compressors began to cool at the correct voltage, they stopped working. draws so much current that no boost is needed. I wish I knew about these units a long time ago that I had a full term with my wife for 13 years. If you have tension problems, just do it, you won't regret it.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Modern
