The button that controls the slide in our RV is located just below the light switch as you enter the door. This meant that the "little fingers" could easily press the button. If the shutter is already off and the button is constantly pressed, the shutter motor will burn out (happened to us), which is not a cheap or easy fix. This case works perfectly! Since you have to lift the lid to press the button, the possibility of someone saying "It was an accident" is eliminated. If you have a camper with a slide, I strongly recommend covering the button with a lid.
