Review on IDataLink Maestro HRN RR GM5 GM5 T Harness by Jeremy Gaines

Installed with Kenwood DNX572BH on 2008 Avalanche. Lots of cables and you have to learn the connections. Normal install and my Onstar still goes through the factory speakers. Bells and a turn signal were the only sounds sent to the GM5's speaker. For my setup the only wires I would have to cut/splice were for OBDII to bring the car's sensors to the display. I've decided not to do this and leave it alone, well enough. You may need to get creative with the wiring and the Maestro unit. It was definitely a way for me to keep the Onstar and steering wheel controls.
