This product itself is of excellent quality and should do what it offers. I am very happy. However, the lightweight 4-inch steel bumper you attach it to, which is often found on RVs, can be a disaster. Many of the lightweight bumpers (and welds) will rust over time and the bumper may crack. The lightweight bumpers I am talking about are not designed to support weight. Go to "You Tube" and find a video on this topic. Again, the product listed here is excellent. The bumper you attach it to may not hold up. What are you up to. If you are unsure about this, ask someone you trust. I'm going for a hike.
