Review on 🔧 Efficient OTC 4840 Piston Ring Compressor Set with Convenient Ring Expander Pliers by Sean Pierre

I bought this set because it had compressor rings up to 1 3/8". I may never need them, but I will have them. The problem is that compressor rings smaller than 2 7/8 inches in diameter have different tabs to connect them to the compressor pliers. The lugs of the pliers touch before the compressor ring is fully closed. Using 2 7/8 rings However, larger rings work great. Think about it, if 2 7/8" and bigger works well but the smaller compressor rings don't, save some money and just get a 6 ring set (because you really won't be using the extra rings in that set can). Overall it's a nice well built kit. I didn't use pliers to expand the rings but compression pliers work great. If only these smaller compression rings worked better.
