My computer weighs about 3 pounds and many stands can't keep it stable. So I decided to pay a little more for a better stand and this solved my problem. Very easy assembly: only three parts, no screws required. Compared to other C-shaped bases, the extra support at the bottom allows this stand to hold heavier items without deforming. If you are looking for a non-adjustable stand that looks good and has fixed armrests, I would highly recommend this stand.
