This dry bag is perfect for sea kayaking or river trips. Just make sure you get 3 tight folds before you zip them together. I've fallen in the water several times and although it was partially submerged (tipped over in winter) the contents stayed dry (sleepwear). The phone case has worked well on several trips but on the last trip the plastic pieces holding the case together cracked rendering it unusable. Overall, while I would definitely recommend a dry bag, the included phone case alone isn't the most durable for extended use.
