Review on 🚡 RaceFace Chester Mountain Bike Pedal: Superior Performance for Adventurous Riders by Tony Addis

Holds you on the bike (update)

I'm using shoes on my mountain bike right now (five dozen total) and while they're not great, these pedals keep them in place. I don't think I could slip if I tried. They are very well thought out, with a lot of space and a large surface for the foot. The composite construction is much lighter than metal pedals, but still feels solid. You also drive calmly and quietly, but do not feel free. You look great too. A huge upgrade from the clunky, squeaky, slippery, ugly metal pedals I had on my bike. (Update) The seal on one of the pedals broke and after a few weeks grease is leaking out. I'll check it three times, but I've cleaned everything else and there's still grease on the pedal. It's still working well for now and isn't the worst considering the price and how easy it is to replace/repair. Let's see if I can fix it or return it if it turns out to be a pedal. Downgrading from 5 to 4 stars for that reason, unless I find out it's not a pedal. Might go lower if I have to get another one if it happens again. Still a great product.
