I have been using them for many years and consider them to be almost the best abrasive on the market. They're thick enough to hold comfortably but thin enough to fit almost any surface. The bonded abrasive remains on the pad until worn out. With all five grits you will achieve a sufficiently smooth surface that can be polished to a high gloss. Can also be used for wet grinding. To get into those hard-to-reach places, you can cut it into all sizes and shapes with a utility knife. I make a cut from the back to get a sharp edge.
