Great grinding wheel!

durability and optimal flexibility. Easy to work with when sanding and cleans itself of particles very well. My first choice.

Pros
  • hand tool
Cons
  • obsolete

This is not your typical "block" sanding pad. It's more like a pillow. It's about half a centimeter thick and very flexible. If you need to sand something that is cylindrical or has a lot of curves, this pad is perfect. This particular item is quite rough and grinds quickly.

Now I understand why these things are so expensive.

There are certain conditions where nothing else can match the efficiency of sharpening. When sanding small parts or intricate parts I start at the outside edges and corners of the pad and trim them when they are less effective and nothing beats when sanding primer on automotive projects and throughout the job. A quick flush with an air hose and they'll be like new again in no time.

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Available in white only

really the best for power tools and hand tools

I have been using them for many years and consider them to be almost the best abrasive on the market. They're thick enough to hold comfortably but thin enough to fit almost any surface. The bonded abrasive remains on the pad until worn out. With all five grits you will achieve a sufficiently smooth surface that can be polished to a high gloss. Can also be used for wet grinding. To get into those hard-to-reach places, you can cut it into all sizes and shapes with a utility knife. I make a cut…
