Amazing product! It's easy to cut strips to the desired width. I used scissors and followed the strip. I connected the matte strip with stickers on 4 corners. I used the cut length of the transparent strip at the corners to determine where to place the decals. I cut the strips along the inside and outside edges into transparent strips (3 transparent, 2 matte). You can use any width you want. The window decals (which also cling to static electricity) were 6 inch squares that I cut out to connect to the strips. We wanted some texture and design on our storm door and it was excellent. Just clean the glass well, apply a little smear. Detergent (Dawn) in a spray bottle with water. Spray onto glass, lay out vinyl and smooth out (I used a credit card). Don't worry if there are too many bubbles, it can be removed and reapplied. The midday sun hits the door and they hold up well. Having not used the full width of the roll I cannot attest to the ease of use of this quantity.
