Review on NiteRider Lumina 900 Boost: Powerful USB Rechargeable Bike Light for All-Terrain & Road Riding - Enhanced Lumens, Water Resistant, Easy Installation for Optimal Cycling Safety by Philip Anderson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Interface, instructions, attachment - everything is a bit disappointing

The light has 7 modes plus blocking, all accesses are made through not quite logical combinations of clicks and holding a button. The Cateye it replaced had a simple user interface that was easy to understand. The battery is only rated for an hour in the 900-lumen heading mode, so the designers made the less bright modes standard. It took me about 10 minutes of fiddling to install it. My old Cateye had a mount. with pull handle and off button, which I really liked. The instructions are a collection of wordless cartoons that I had a hard time understanding. I was hoping it would look like a good deal but unfortunately it's annoying.
