This item is worth every penny. My dog has a thin, short coat and sheds horribly. This unit worked AMAZING on hardwood floors! The extra suction power for pet hair makes a big difference. Roomba also does an excellent job on our carpets. If you are considering whether to buy this device or not, it will make your life of dusting and sweeping much easier. Battery life is excellent - we leave ours on the charger when not in use. Setting up and managing Roomba is very easy. They can be controlled directly from your phone. When Roomba's battery is empty or low, it will automatically return to the charging port and send you a notification of its movement. All in all a great product! Would recommend this to anyone.
