I got the first one and the audio was loud but muffled/distorted even for me and my hearing is pretty good. Spoke to a specialist

Bought for my mother who is hard of hearing. I got the first one and the audio was loud but muffled/distorted even for me and my hearing is pretty good. I spoke to a specialist at Clarity and he told me to return it for another, which I did. Yesterday I got a new one, no better than the original. Send it back and try another brand/model. Unfortunately, because it has many good qualities.
