These are quality gloves that I use for skiing. Fits well and is well made. However, I have found that my hands get very cold when outside in temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. The rear window was closed so I just ordered some glove liners. If you need something for weather below 32 degrees Fahrenheit then either get other gloves or buy liners as well. The elastic loop prevents them from falling off the lift :-) and allows you to move your hand freely. Good gloves again, but they need some warmth on cold days. I didn't get them very wet so I can't vouch for their water resistance.
