Replaces the original muffler except a heat shield was fitted to the original muffler. The muffler is near some plastic parts, hopefully they won't melt as it doesn't have a heat shield. It was a good idea to order a two-bolt inlet with a large flange. An exhaust was also ordered and that helped too. The exhaust pipe is removed from the rear of the car. It runs to the left of the hose over the rear end.
