This is a solid stainless steel muffler that was shipped quickly and installed correctly. You will most likely need to order an intermediate pipe Dynomax 51026 to properly install the muffler.

This is a stainless steel I am happy with. The muffler itself is a bit louder than I was hoping. When I stand outside the car the sound of the muffler is no different than my old muffler, but when I sit in the car the sound seems to be higher pitched and louder.

Replaces the original muffler except a heat shield was fitted to the original muffler. The muffler is near some plastic parts, hopefully they won't melt as it doesn't have a heat shield. It was a good idea to order a two-bolt inlet with a large flange. An exhaust was also ordered and that helped too. The exhaust pipe is removed from the rear of the car. It runs to the left of the hose over the rear end.
