Good to have as a spare or backup as they are only about $2.50 each. But the plastic is not very durable. The main problem is that the handle for turning the thread (90 degree angle) is very tight and difficult to turn (can't really do it by hand). Those that go straight should be screwed in. Camera by either rotating the camera or removing the GoPro mount and rotating (i.e. the thread does not rotate). If you put a ball head, it will be better. In general I'm happy with the price, but I'll order a better aluminum for normal work and leave these for unforeseen situations.
