Review on Fit System 30058 Passenger Replacement by Darren Cole

Needed a mirror which was replaced after a Jack @ ss hit my parked truck and drove off and threw my existing driver's side mirror into the road. The mirror's plastic housing was still attached to the truck, but the mirror itself was shattered. After Chevy told me $386 for a replacement, I immediately started looking for Revain and narrowed it down to a few. One was a complete replacement and cost $120, although fully functional I saw no need for a replacement. Heater, dimmer and mirror turn signals since my truck was 13 years old. I was willing to compromise on the ancient beast's traits. This mirror seemed like a good compromise to me, they said it would fit but some things weren't clear in the description so I had to read a lot of reviews to figure it out. I have never had to change a mirror and wasn't sure if this model would fit my truck. I was worried about the reviews about the quality of the mirror but thought it was worth the risk for the price so I went ahead and ordered one. It's a "window" for light that allows light to shine through if you can wind up the rig (I used heavy duty tape). The rest of the setup was *mostly* straight forward and the mirror works flawlessly. I don't get it, this mirror has a heating element, a window for an LED turn signal (but not LED) and works as a mirror. Unlike my current one, it worked great. a slight distortion in the quality of the mirror, but for my purposes it does the job: ee when there are cars on my side. I mean, who needs to be able to read a car's license plate number in the mirror? Just see if there's a car there, and if so, don't enter that lane! For me at least a great mirror. The photos that accompany the review show the difference in the back that was on my old mirror and the new one. Not exactly a "coincidence" but it still fits great and have been using it for about a month now, no problems. Would buy it again for my truck anytime.
