Thank god for that! It's super fast!

We strongly recommend that you first read the instructions on iFixit.com before doing anything with your computer. It was a pretty easy install for me, although I also swapped out the hard drive, which took me almost 6 hours total. I made several mistakes that cost me many hours. Below was my review of the hard drive I bought. Hopefully it can provide you with useful information so you don't have to waste time on unnecessary steps. not easy, and the guide is useless, because the actual installation is not a problem since it was POC, the problem is later. It took me several hours to robotize my MB Pro 2011 Early 13". I'm following the instructions on iFixit.com, but trying to create a bootable flash drive is giving me a headache! The code they provide is not up to date for the new installer. If you follow it you will get an error. I suggest/should you look at the comments in the how-to article on iFixit.com. This will help you with the latest information. Anyway, I've spent all my time building a portable flash drive, but haven't actually used it. Using the command option and the p option to start the computer with a new hard drive takes you to the recovery menu. You need to reformat your hard drive, just erase everything and do first aid, then you can reinstall your Mac OS system from the drop down menu. And bam! It's so fast, I can't believe it's almost 10 years! BTW I also bought a Corsair 16GB, this is a MUST HAVE if you want your computer to be super fast.
