I would advise you to just go with 8GB, 16GB is not noticeably better.

Best and most popular brand of Mac memory. It's as simple as "plug and push" - the easiest and fastest performance upgrade for your Mac. You don't have to do anything after installation, just turn on the laptop and it will take care of itself behind the scenes. Straight. My only complaint is that there isn't a noticeable difference in performance between the 8GB and 16GB that I can detect. While it's fun to install more RAM than my 2011 MBP it was designed for and still works great, it's…

  • Great design

Everything seems fine. Corsair's packaging is pretty bad.

While it's silly that DDR3L is still around in mid-2019, it's a fair upgrade and enough to make a late 2012 Mac mini fare better than most modern ones when it comes to memory-intensive tasks like Google Chrome Computer. etc. (Assuming you already have an SSD upgrade). If you don't need pure IPC or multi-core performance, these 22nm dual-core Ivy Bridge processors hold up pretty well and will still be good enough until 7/10nm processors arrive, which is upgrade- hopefully make paths more…

Saved my MacBook - buy 16GB for your Mid 2012 MacBoo Pro.

Updated. This made a huge difference to my mid 2012 i5 MacBook Pro. I only had 4GB and after upgrading to Catalina it was so slow. After learning that Catalina was using 2GB, I decided to upgrade to 16GB. Extremely easy storage installation. I took out 2-2 gigabyte flash drives and replaced them in 5 minutes. All 16GB got up with no problems. Logic Pro X and Chrome can be easily reused. Works 10 times faster. No more turning the ball and letting it sit for 15 minutes. I added a 1TB SSD and it's

Compatible with 13.3 " MacBook Pro Mid 2012

Works great with my MacBook Pro Mid 2012 with 2.9GHz i7 processor and 1600MHz DDR3 RAM. I have previously found cheaper RAM on Amazon for $99 Bought dollars and it is not compatible with my system. But this one is really compatible. My Macbook Pro becomes faster and more responsive. I do a lot of photo editing and applications like Adobe Photoshop 2018, Bridge are very fast and almost lag-free. I made the right decision Not to spend big bucks on a new Macbook Pro, instead spend $137 on this…

Fast and error-free! Good for storage

Works great on a 2012 13" MacBook Pro. Speeds up work so that little spinning ball either doesn't reappear or disappears quickly. Even Microsoft programs run faster! Very easy to attach, follow the instructions on Apple's website, but make sure you ground your hands AND the MacBook during installation (to avoid ESD damage) and that you have tiny screwdrivers and Apple tools to open the back cover remove. computer. Also, be sure to grab the tiny Apple screws and put them in the exact same holes…

December 20, 2020 max Late 2011 RAM MBP 15 inch

Easy install. Excellent price. Runs 4 browsers (Chrome with too many pages open - each with a bunch of tabs open and a few paused YouTubes) and a few small apps and utilities with lots of stuff on the desktop with ease. All this causes the processors to heat up, so MacsFanControl is very busy. With all the Apple gibberish that followed in the background on Chrome's ridiculous load of similar background packs, I was seriously stumped. Now the MacBook can manipulate my ADHD and I never lose a…

Feels new. Best in Memory

Used for my Macbook Pro 2012. Upgraded from 4GB RAM to 16GB (it). I can't explain to you how fast this made my computer. Imagine a race between a tortoise and a hare, instead this time the hare actually crosses the finish line. Watch a YouTube video on how to update and get it done. You won't regret it at all. Now I like my Macbook Pro 2012 more than my Macbook Pro 2016 without Touch Bar.

Thank god for that! It's super fast!

We strongly recommend that you first read the instructions on iFixit.com before doing anything with your computer. It was a pretty easy install for me, although I also swapped out the hard drive, which took me almost 6 hours total. I made several mistakes that cost me many hours. Below was my review of the hard drive I bought. Hopefully it can provide you with useful information so you don't have to waste time on unnecessary steps. not easy, and the guide is useless, because the actual…

Perfect fit for MacBook Pro Mid 2012

My MacBook Pro Mid 2012 ran like a spinning wheel, froze and restarted intermittently and was generally slow. I decided to try a few upgrades before buying a new one - it didn't get any worse, I had a Time Machine backup and could always buy a new machine. First I upgraded the HDD to a 1TB SSD (I used a Samsung 860 EVO) - the spinning stopped and the performance improved a lot. That's when I pumped up and decided to upgrade the RAM to 16G. Apple Corsair certified 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1600MHz…
