Review on ๐ŸŽ’ Insulated Charging Resistant Backpack Lunchbox by Maria Fukushima

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Thumbs up from this commuter pump scooter

I'm a pump mom who commutes to work by subway and scooter. I needed a compact, waterproof backpack that was easy to carry and had an insulated pocket for lunch (morning commute) and pumping breast milk (evening commute). This bag impresses in many ways: Pros: Lightweight, with padded straps, fabric looks and feels good, cleans up stains well despite being light gray, good water resistance, well stitched and has external zips that slide very easily. The main compartment has a double zipper and the laptop compartment is single. The snack compartment is a good size and keeps food cold for a long time. It is easy to clean and dirt stays in it too. I had a leaky container of pesto pasta and nothing leaked into the main compartments or the outer fabric, which really impressed me. The ice pack keeps my breast milk frozen in the breast pump bags for at least 2 hours. I tucked a flat ice pack and up to 4 pockets right into the inner mesh pocket (keeps organized and protects on the way home). The size is perfect - not too big and not too small. It easily fits my 15 inch laptop, phones, chargers and a 5 piece wrapped laptop. I can fit both phones (an iPhone 8S in an Otter box and a Samsung S10), a pen and a pen in the inside pocket, but those pockets are tight. I have a free seat in the main compartment. As soon as the masks are off, I will definitely be able to throw a cosmetic bag there. I love love love the map pocket on my belt! I've always had trouble finding my MetroCard. I spent too many days in the mornings in cold sweats, frantically rummaging in my pockets, the bottom of my bag, etc., thinking that it was lost forever. This is not the case with this function. Fortunately, the bag is longer! Cons: In general, the position and capacity of the pockets could be better. Each pocket is sewn nylon with no elastic or added fabric. I would have liked to see a larger stretch mesh computer accessory pocket in the computer compartment, a zippered pocket in the main compartment (missing) and a large zipped pocket under the flap. The phone and pen pockets are decently sized, but they definitely don't match some of the larger phones on the market today. It would be nice if they added a metal D ring for attaching keys and/or ID. I use that little zippered pocket under the flap because there isn't any other good place for it, but it's tight. Ideally I would put my sunglasses in, but I can't because it gets scratched. In terms of functionality, I thought I wish there was added security from a zip pocket under the flap, but it just makes getting things out a little bit more difficult. Pain The grip is strong, simple and small. I would have preferred it to be a bit larger so I could wear it around my wrist while juggling security doors, my scooter, etc. Overall I really like this bag. I'm giving it 4.5 stars because of the disadvantages mentioned above. Looks like Matien will make another bag similar to this one, with big handles and an open outside pocket. I'll probably take it instead as I'm a super anal memorizer, but I really feel like this is a very good bag that will exceed most people's expectations for the price ($29 at the time of purchase). .
