Can be a great DC welding machine, all the panel functions work well. The main problem with the device is the flashlight, the 4-button pen is unusable. Cannot be held in position to weld and operate switch. The gloves keep pressing the on/off button when you try to focus on welding. 5 pin connector but the footswitch doesn't work to control the amps the way it was designed, it only goes to 10 because it defines the continuity of what the amp off button on the flashlight will be. I managed to disable the potentiometer on the pedal and use it as an on/off function, which works well in pulse mode, allowing me to get rid of the knob grip. Later we will consider modifying the device to use the amplifier control on the pedal. I'm just disappointed that a decent welder would break with this kind of torch, which I think is useless. Would pay a few bucks more just for a regular headlight and the ability to add a pedal with no modification.
