Review on πŸ”₯ Ultimate Safety and Style with Torc T14B Blinc Loaded Scramble Mako Full Face Helmet by Mike Betzing

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The first thing I noticed is that it's quite comfortable, I wore it for 30 minutes and didn't take it off.

I bought two of these Torc helmets for me and my wife. It's still winter here in New York, but I was able to take a little trip while trying them on. , the first thing that struck me is that it's quite comfortable, I wore it for 30 minutes and I didn't get any bruises on my forehead. Second, it's difficult to pair the intercom with anything, including other helmets, it took multiple attempts to sync it. Once connected, the communication system feels intermittent, especially when listening to music, but for under $200 it works well enough, I have yet to take a call while driving, so I can't comment on that aspect. The blacked out visor is easy to find and deploy, but bounces a bit after hitting a bump. The biggest problem I have is the padding doesn't have goggle cutouts, the pads press down on my glasses and they have to sit at a weird angle to wear them. I would give this 4 stars if it had Bluetooth capability. More features. The big downside is the ability to only connect to a phone or other helmet.

Pros
  • Comfort balaclava with laser contour specially designed for medium oval head shape
Cons
  • poorly thought out
