Front and rear passenger side windows lower but not raise via driver controls; I had to reach out and use the appropriate window control to reopen the window. I thought it had something to do with the power window control unit. ordered this device, it came in 24 hours. it only took 5 minutes to remove the handle from the door, remove the small cover, pull out the old control box and plug in the new one. Fits perfectly and solved my problem with the windows not going up. I installed this in my 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT Z71. You can find tutorials on how to remove the door panel on YouTube, but it only takes the first few seconds to remove the handle and then remove the window switch cover part. You don't have to remove the entire door panel. You will need a 10mm socket and something flat like a narrow spatula to remove the cap from the grip.
