Be sure to follow the dosage instructions first. In the first 6 days of using this material, I actually underestimated it. I made a mistake in the calculations due to the size of the tank. Once I figured that out and started adding the right amount, my tank quickly jumped on. Total cycle time was around 14 days, could be less if I had actually dosed the right amount from the start. Would recommend and will use again for future tanks.
