This cable worked fine when I used it with an audio interface for recording. It has been used on my desk for 3 months and has only been moved across the desk. Then last week I was traveling with my family and needed to do some prep work for an upcoming project, so I took my interface and this cable with me. Just a bit of shoving caused it to fail after a few days. I thought something was wrong with the interface or my computer as I didn't bring a spare cable to replace. When I got home he tried a different cable and the interface worked like a charm. My advice. Try a different cable and always have a backup handy as Thunderbolt cables are not very common yet.
