I was cheated! Product does not correspond to the description at all.

When it comes to making face-to-face Skype calls, the Logitech C920 webcam seems to perform admirably when put to use for the purpose for which it was designed. Good communication was maintained with a subscriber who was located 700 kilometers distant from me; the remote subscriber expressed satisfaction with the picture; there was no jerking, and the movements were mostly smooth. I was about 70โ€“90 centimeters away from the camera. That is, when working at the typical distance from a monitor that is 21.5 inches in size as is typically done. The design of the camera, as well as its focus and depth of field, have all been fine-tuned specifically for this objective. If someone has a much larger monitor diagonal or if there is a need to communicate with a large group of people and you have to sit more than one meter away from the camera so that the whole crowd can be seen, then nobody will be in focus, and it will be an inconvenience for everyone. If someone has a much larger monitor diagonal than you do, or if there is a need to communicate with a large group of people, then you should sit further away from the For me, an image that is this detailed at this distance is not desirable (3cm to 80cm). I need a sharp image from 20 centimeters to 250 centimeters away from the lens much more than anything else. Then, not only would it be feasible to use the camera at home to record videos and take photographs, but it would also be feasible to sit comfortably in front of the camera with three or five of us and carry on a natural conversation via Skype. Yet, as a result of the depth of field qualities that now exist and the blurring that occurs at the image's borders, taking photographs and movies is absolutely meaningless. Communicators have higher shooting skills. The camera's functionality is severely limited, even for use with Skype; even when viewed up close, the image quality is unimpressive; and the device's purported ability to record video and take still photographs is a complete fabrication. The red price tag on this camera is only $20 and not $100 as previously stated.

Pros
  • 1. Having support for the H.264 codec lowers the amount of load placed on the communication channel. 2. Convenient fastening. 3. You have a pleasing appearance. 4. The installation and configuration were completed successfully under Windows 7 without any issues (32). 5. The camera does not have the ability to rotate horizontally in relation to where it is mounted. Personally, I see this as a benefit, but I can see how it could be problematic for others.
Cons
  • 1. Electronic focus. Limiting the depth of field. If you set the focus to "infinity," then the distance at which you will see an image that is reasonably crisp will be somewhere between 25 and 80 centimeters from the lens. When the focus is set to "macro," the area that produces a sharp image is approximately 3 centimeters away from the lens. If you adjust the focus so that it is in the middle of the scale (five out of ten), then the distance at which you will see a sharp image is between 10 and 11 centimeters. 2. The image has a significant amount of blurring around the perimeter of the picture. In addition, there is a sense of fuzziness in the middle.
