Can't judge heat resistance/warmth - they're made of wood! I've bought others that are so stiff you can't even squeeze them to lift anything. You are very flexible. Easy to slide to take food/toast/etc. I really like them and will buy a few more sets before they go away. mistake I made before. And that's crap for getting the ones that bend easily and hold the item well without much effort.
