This is a good idea, but poorly executed. The advantages are that the handle is easy to grab and the open design makes it easy to see where you're hitting. Now for the cons: 1. The punch often jams/jams even when cutting a sheet of plain paper. I believe this is because the cut surfaces are not made with very high precision.2. The edges of the circle cut are not as clean as they could be, again due to low precision metal parts.3.
