I was very happy to receive this hammer drill after ordering. After delivery and first use I have to admit that I was disappointed. He didn't so much cut the paper as just ripped off the edges. However, after using it for a while, I found that it only pierces kraft paper (when folded in half), nothing thinner or thicker! This is a good idea, but poorly executed. The advantages are that the handle is easy to grab and the open design makes it easy to see where you're hitting. Now for the cons: 1. The punch often jams/jams even when cutting a sheet of plain paper. I believe this is because the cut surfaces are not made with very high precision.2.
