Smaller than you think and about the size of a pencil, but suitable for smaller plants, say 18 inches tall or less. I originally bought for tomato plants as cages are very expensive but that hasn't stopped them from falling off. Perfect for peppers, beans, smaller peppers, broccoli, etc. Just don't expect them to last more than a season as they break easily after months in the ground. Would probably buy again to use for smaller plants and flowers.
