They work pretty well for what they are. There are many different brands that make this type of stuff and they all seem pretty much the same. I especially enjoy chopping fresh basil because trying to do it with a knife is just tiring and I end up with more on my fingers, the knife, and the cutting board than the food I'm trying to put down. However, the green sheath, which is also used to remove the herbs from the blades, doesn't really fit, and so I usually only have to spray off what's stuck. it doesn't come out when I thread the end of the green body through the blades (that's why I only rated them four stars instead of five).
