Not dishwasher safe

The scissors were fine when I cut the cilantro, I had to go through a few leaves twice but a big disappointment came after I emptied the dishwasher. They say it's dishwasher safe, the rust you see in the photo is from ONE wash. I didn't leave them wet in the sink, I didn't leave them wet in the dishwasher. This photo was the result of using them once, putting them in the dishwasher, washing them and then taking them off and they looked like this. Terrible cheap product. Do not buy.

Saves time and nerves

I grow kitchen herbs and often use them for cooking. Before purchasing these scissors, I had to pull out my favorite knife and cutting board every time I wanted to add fresh herbs to a dish. I used these scissors for the first time this morning to chop spring onions and parsley and couldn't believe how quick and easy it was to prep my herbs. The scissors are durable and terribly sharp. I think only time will tell how well the blades hold their edge but these shears perform exactly as…

Works great in kitchen and dining room

I like it when a product meets my expectations. These stainless steel scissors work amazingly well. It came today and I cut up a bunch of basil, both wet and dry. Wet basil would get stuck between the blades, but the blade cover has serrations that you just slide between the blades to get what's stuck in there and it worked great. He dealt with a bunch of basil quickly, it would have taken me much longer to cut it with a knife or scissors. I use a lot of fresh herbs and that will speed up the…

Works mostly as intended

They work pretty well for what they are. There are many different brands that make this type of stuff and they all seem pretty much the same. I especially enjoy chopping fresh basil because trying to do it with a knife is just tiring and I end up with more on my fingers, the knife, and the cutting board than the food I'm trying to put down. However, the green sheath, which is also used to remove the herbs from the blades, doesn't really fit, and so I usually only have to spray off what's stuck.

For the time being I give this scissors 3 stars and .

I am giving these scissors 3 stars for now and will update my rating if necessary as I will be using them more often in the future. Currently I've only used scissors to chop scallions and found that most of the cuttings got stuck between the blades, requiring me to spend time after every two cuts using the butter knife and prying the scallion slices out of the gap. scissor blades. The size of the spring onion slices was exactly what I was looking for, but I'm wondering if I can just use a sharp

It works out! suitable for kitchen appliances and gadgets

I have mixed feelings about these scissors. I'm tired of the tedious and often time-consuming chopping of fresh herbs. These scissors do a pretty good job with lots of herbs, but there are a few downsides to their design. They come with a cleaning tool to clean the herbs between the blades, which you often have to use 3 or 4 times at a time for a single bunch of herbs like parsley. This can confuse the process a bit. Also, it doesn't grind herbs very evenly if you're trying to do it quickly…

Good concept product but not perfect

These herb scissors are the first and only herb scissors I have ever owned so I have no comparison. However, I find it handy when I need to grind a large amount of herbs relatively quickly. Relatively fast I mean, I don't want to spend hours chopping herbs in the kitchen. I don't have the fancy knives that professional chefs have and it feels like I've been chopping herbs with a regular knife for ages. Well, any idiot can fly scissors! Hallelujah! If someone else is having trouble grinding…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Every cook needs them!

When you first pick up these scissors, the quality will be obvious. While lightweight, they don't feel flimsy or cheap like some kitchen utensils. The blades are really nice and sharp. I like that they can be used for scallions (scallop/shallot: depending on the country/region) as I don't actually chop as many herbs as a khachoir (herb chopper with one or two blades that can be rotated back and forth ) is that they are much easier to use for a beginner. It's exactly the same as with scissors…
