These herb scissors are the first and only herb scissors I have ever owned so I have no comparison. However, I find it handy when I need to grind a large amount of herbs relatively quickly. Relatively fast I mean, I don't want to spend hours chopping herbs in the kitchen. I don't have the fancy knives that professional chefs have and it feels like I've been chopping herbs with a regular knife for ages. Well, any idiot can fly scissors! Hallelujah! If someone else is having trouble grinding herbs and doesn't need a very fine mince, I would recommend them as a great time-saving tool. Thanks to Amazon for helping me find such a useful product. I also love that it comes with a handy tool that doubles as a scissor cleaner and scissor holder when not in use, but I guess I'm just gushing right now and don't want to bore anyone. All in all these scissors are a great addition for anyone looking to save time in the kitchen and I think they are pretty much everyone!
