When you first pick up these scissors, the quality will be obvious. While lightweight, they don't feel flimsy or cheap like some kitchen utensils. The blades are really nice and sharp. I like that they can be used for scallions (scallop/shallot: depending on the country/region) as I don't actually chop as many herbs as a khachoir (herb chopper with one or two blades that can be rotated back and forth ) is that they are much easier to use for a beginner. It's exactly the same as with scissors, but thanks to the five blades it's much faster. This is a nice little time saver that will be helpful for those who add a lot of herbs to their meals. If you see some small plants growing in their kitchen, chances are they will benefit from it as a gift!
