The heating plate on my favorite coffee warmer (Mr Coffee) isn't wide enough for my cups. I was looking for a new heater with a completely flat surface. It has an auto shut off which I like. The heater works well and I believe the "P2" setting is hot enough. This will NOT warm up cold coffee. Also works best with hand-thrown mugs and worse with mass-produced mugs. How to tell if the cup is thrown by hand? It will have a perfectly flat bottom. The machine-made mug has a ceramic ring at the bottom. I have a couple of hand held cups that I like and use and it works well. I have hand thrown mugs on Etsy. They tend to be larger than regular mugs, so more coffee for me!
