You get what you pay for. It's ok for light use, it's not as strong as I thought it would be, the wire it's made of is pretty flimsy for a shelf, but if you just put a few pounds on it you'll be fine. . I will add a wooden board to prevent sagging in the middle. I use it to hold electronic test equipment on the table and it's fine, it doesn't support my 20lb PSU without excess sag so it still sits on the table. I was pretty cheap so I'm not complaining, I was just expecting it to be a little stronger, from the pictures it looked like it could handle 30 or 40 pounds without too much trouble, it doesn't, it is closer to 5-10 pounds. Capacity. Which is fine if that's all you need.
